You have mentioned i-View and AJapp if I wanted to access the Wanscam IP Camera on my android HTC Desire or my iPad 4, am I correct please? So, I am assuming that the app has to be downloaded on my HTC Desire or my iPad accordingly?

We're adding a wind turbine to supplement the solar panels on one of our very remote mountaintop wireless relay sites and I bought I Wanscam outdoor camera to monitor it for damage. However although the unit worked perfectly on my local LAN - or almost perfectly as I couldn't get the lights to work perhaps because the manual is somewhat vague about how you work them - I cannot get any response from it across the network through two natted routers. I can ping it from the second router, to which it is directly connected by wireless, and I can see from the packet counter that attempts to contact it on port 99 are being passed through, but it isn't responding.

Likewise attempts to contact it through vipcam appear to be reaching it but there is no response. As I have to go up the mountain again to plug myself into it to make any configuration changes I thought I'd ask if anyone has any ideas what the problem might be before I do so. It responds perfectly well when on a local LAN but not when NATted across a network.
