In any event, I'm glad to have it working once again because I liked this feature-rich email app enough to pay for the Pro version. After literally trying every email client out there and experiencing issues with notifications and push, this seems to do it.

While the ads are intrusive on the free version and the pro is pricey, it's still a solid app. It's incredibly customizable (almost to a fault) and has a very rich Help/FAQ. I love the split pane view option. I will say I do not use this for business, but personal mail accounts. Unless you purchase the pro, you can't remove the advertising signature. For those in business who have to use a signature format, this will be an issue.

LG Style 3 phone, Android 7.0 platform, which does have reported issues with notifications not working. So far so good. Update: bought the Pro. There are a lot of great email apps out there. I am always hesitant to change when there can be such complexity for the various options requiring time to set up. If an app does the job, why change? However, I purchased a Chromebook with Android Play Store and my favorite email apps each had a problem, whether it be full option menus, printing menus, or whatever, I had to go find something compatible with my different IMAP email accounts.

I tried AquaMail expecting only to use it on my Chromebook. I was impressed. In fact, I put it on my mobile devices as well. The biggest positive change? When I delete my message on any device on an IMAP server, it is deleted on ALL of my other devices as well. That should be expected right?

Evidently, that is not the case suspecting other apps load emails in cache or something and I still had to delete them.again. I am really impressed with AquaMail. Yeah, it cost me $9.99 to remove ads, but my last favorite was $9.99 per year subscription. I am truly please with AquaMail! Great app when it works. In the past week our so the notifications were working randomly and not notifying me on time when I have new email.

Scheduled mail receiving also became intermittent as the new message counter was occasionally updating and after manual sync I noticed that the messages are quite old ie few hours. I had to resort to manually initiate download of new message and not rely on the notifications. I spent a lot of time checking the sync settings, app permissions, notification settings, sent countless test emails. Unfortunately I couldn't get reliable and on time notification of new incoming messages. It works for me and initially although i couldnt get it to sync live, the customer service responded to my email enquiry almost instantly. Now I found a way (as adviced) to sync my incoming mails and it works well for me. Also, it is lite to use, doesnt drain battery, have 'signature' function, fonts etc.

Unlike my previous mailbox, whatever i have deleted, stays in delete box (and not bounced back to inbox). I am no able to stay on top of my work mail!!

^_^ thank you Aqua Mail (PS: adverts is less noticable once i got use to it). Have used this app for ages as it has all the features I want and is so efficient and easy to use. I was using the free version and, as such, understand ads are needed for the developer to make money. However a recent update has made the ads incredibly intrusive and led to me accidentally deleting emails when I mistook them for spam. Upon opening an email, you have to scroll down to find the actual content as a huge ad appears at the top.

As I didn't want to search round for another app as good, I forked out for the paid version (waited until it was half price), which I guess is what the dev wants but I resent being bullied into it. THERE ARE BETTER FREE MAIL APPS!!!
